I was born in Tehran, Iran, and began my journey in filmmaking at the age of 19 with my first short film, Creation, which was selected for the experimental section of the 28th Tehran International Short Film Festival in 2011.
From 2010 to 2016, I pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering at Parand Azad University in Tehran. However, my passion for cinema led me to continue my education, and from 2016 to 2020, I completed a Master’s degree in Cinema at Tarbiat Modarres University, Tehran. My master’s thesis focused on the analysis of Bahram Beyzai’s and Asghar Farhadi’s cinema through the lens of Jacques Lacan’s works.
In 2019, as part of my master’s coursework, I created the short film Echo, which was featured in the experimental section of the 16th Nahal International Short Film Festival in Tehran.
In 2020, I directed The Winter’s Ash, a short film produced as my master’s thesis project. The film premiered at the prestigious 74th Salerno International Festival in Italy.
Currently, I am working on my first feature film, which began in 2021. It is now in progressing through the sound stages.
